Why perspective matters

One decision, several consequences.

A choice made in one part of a client's life almost always lands somewhere else. The connection is usually clear only in hindsight.

Business → Family
A business decision can affect a family.
Property → Succession
A property decision can affect wealth and succession.
Divorce → Ownership
A divorce or family change can affect ownership of assets and businesses.
A sale → A generation
The sale of a business can change the future of an entire family.
Inheritance → Complication
An inheritance can create opportunities, but also unexpected complications.
Today → Generations
A straightforward estate decision today can have consequences for generations to come.

About

I work alongside, rather than replace, the client's lawyers, accountants, financial advisers and other professional advisers.

My experience spans estate and succession matters, family and matrimonial issues, property, corporate and commercial work, contracts and agreements, and the buying and selling of companies and businesses.

I bring a practical perspective developed from seeing how complex situations unfold, not only on paper but in the real world.

My role is to help clients step back, see the bigger picture, identify the issues that matter, anticipate potential consequences and make better-informed decisions.

Where to next

Three ways to understand what I do.
